Master Kathy Olevsky

 

Kathy began studying Martial Arts in 1979 and achieved her Black Belt in 1986. After 20 years of study, she was awarded the title of Master Instructor in Sanshinkai Karate.

Master Olevsky is currently an 8th Degree Black Belt in Sanshinkai Karate, a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Jujitsu and a 1st Degree Brown Belt in Judo.

Olevsky has promoted many students to Black Belts at Karate International which is a multiple location organization that she runs with her husband, Rob. She is the heart of KI’s staff and students. Kathy teaches advanced women’s classes as well as beginner and intermediate adult sparring.

Formerly, Kathy was an adjunct faculty member in the Exercise Sports Science Department at both Meredith College and Peace College.
